The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners heartily
supports the MHA's application to the United State Department of Housing and Urban
Development for fundi\lg support for scattered site housing serving persons with mental
illness. We understand! Piedmont Behavioral Healthcare will serve the residents to the
extent of available reso).rrces.

You are encouraged to give the MHA's application favorable consideration. Please
advise if we can provid~ additional insight in this regard.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Carpenter
Chairman, Board of Commissioners

*

Cabarrus county 65 Church Street, SE.
