The <br />construction of the elementary school will result in the removal of a second temporary field. <br />Staff from the School District, Parks & Recreation Department and Commerce Department <br />have been working to develop a plan to create additional fields to serve both the schools <br />and the community. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board afJPlOves the agenda item as presented) <br />Direct staff to work with Cabarrus County Schools and J & B Development to complete <br />final design of the ball fields, estimate cost based on prior construction, and draft an <br />agreement with J & B Development for construction of the ball fields including future <br />compensation.
