<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS <br />COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is <br />hereby amended as follows. <br /> <br />1. Amend Chapter 7, Section 7-4 (Uses Permitted Based On Standards) as follows: <br /> <br />. Number 2 - Agriculture including livestock: amend standards - part a to read:, <br />"minimum lot size for Low Density Residential- five acres". <br />. Number 14 - Duplex: Delete from zones permitting based on standards, low <br />density residential, medium density residential, and high density <br />residential/ mixed use. <br />. Number 17 - Rural Home Occupation: Under Standards, Part I change so that in <br />the LDR district the minimum lot size is two acres for a rural home occupation. <br />. Number 18 - Private Kennel: Delete from zones permitting based on standards, <br />low density residential. In addition, under standards change, "... see number <br />44...", to "....see number 29 in section 8-4...". <br />· Number 24 - Multi-Family Residential: delete from zones permitting based on <br />standards, medium density residential. <br />. Number 43 - Townhouses: Delete from zones permitting based on standards, <br />Agricultural/Open Space, Countryside Residential, Low Density Residential. In <br />addition, under standards - part a, delete and replace with, "In both the Medium <br />Density and High Density Residential, townhouses may be permitted if their <br />design is generated through the establishment of and Amenity Subdivision (see <br />Chapter 5). In addition, development of townhouses in the office/limited <br />commercial shall follow the requirements for amenity subdivisions in the High <br />Density Residential zone. <br /> <br />> <br /> <br />E-I (<i-) <br /> <br />-1- <br />
