When billing for payment, you may <br />include the time spent by the worker in perfoIDling the foHowing activities in the total number of <br />units of service: <br /> <br />.:. Initial case staffing with the CPS Investigator; <br /> <br />.:. Case transfer visit with the family for the purpose of initiating CPCM seFYices.; <br /> <br />.:. Facilitating the client's Family Service Case Plan (FSCP) for the purpose of addressing all <br />abuse/neglect issues that were identified at the time of the case substantiation. <br /> <br />.:. Reinforcing and teaching appropriate parenting practices; <br /> <br />.:. Providing parenting tools to promote better parental capabilities; <br /> <br />.:. Teaching methods of discipline that do not involve corporal punishment; <br /> <br />.:. Making appropriate referrals for services as needed; <br /> <br />.:. Maintaining face to face contact with child and family at least twice monthly; <br /> <br />.:. Making a minimum of two contacts monthly with collaterals; <br /> <br />.:. Case documentation weekly (within 7 days) of contacts and filed in the case record: <br /> <br />.:. Complete DSS paperwork ( e.g. asses.sment tools, etc) in accordance of state policy; <br /> <br />.:. Individual conference/case staffing with CPCM supervisor weekly; <br /> <br />.:. Staff high risk and non compliance case situation with supervisor and agency Administrative Review <br />Team (ART) in accordance with established protocol; <br /> <br />.:. Attend juvenile court as needed; <br /> <br />.:. Travel time associated with any of the above activities is billable. <br /> <br />PLEASE NOTE: <br />(1) Time spent in preparing documentation - filling out the assessment forms, writing the FSCP, and <br />the dictation and documentation activities. for client records is billable. <br /> <br />(2) Reimbursement will not be pro-rated. Reimbursement will only include actual hours billed. <br /> <br />(3) Time spent in staff development and training is not billable. <br /> <br />r--~ <br />
