The Cabarrus Connty Board of
Commissioners is considering requests from Residents of Historic Concord to possibly relocate the jail annex on the
proposed site to save the former Tribnne building.

The designs will be presented at an open house to be held Thursday, September 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the rotnnda of
the Cabarrus Connty Governmental Center at 65 Church Street SE in Concord.

The new jail annex is planned near the intersection of Union Street and Corban Avenue. The annex will be housed
beside the new jail and justice center complex which is scheduled to be completed in 2007.

Several commissioners as well as representatives from Ware Bonsall Architects and the Cabarrus Connty Department
of Commerce will be on hand to answer questions.

###

Aimee L.
