Caps funding amounts in FY 2005-06 at no less than 99% (95% in FY 2006-07) and no greater <br />than 120% (remains 120% in FY 2006-07) of the fun<!s allocated to each county for FY 2004-05 <br />and establishes that those caps "shall be accomplished by the redistribution of $344,491 that was <br />spent on case management services prior to 2002." <br /> <br />7. Establishes that no funding shall be used to fund programs thai did not participate in the CJPP in <br />fiscal year 2004-2005.. <br /> <br />8. Limits the use of CJPP grant funds for pre-trial release programs from the current maximum of <br />50% of total funding tp 25% in FY 2005~06, and totally and pel1J\anently eliminates funding for <br />pre-trial release programs, beginning July 1, 2006, with a requirement that the funds used in FY <br />2005-06 for pre-trial release programs are to be reallocated among all programs participating in <br />FY 2006-07 and dedic.ted to sentenced offender programs only. <br /> <br />The FY 2005-06 grani award amount indicated in the notification you will soon receive is based <br />on these revisions.
