<br />Ordinance No. 2005-_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that Chapter 13 ofthe Cabarrus County Zoning <br />Ordinance is hereby replaced with the following: <br /> <br />Chapter 13: Amendments & Changes <br /> <br />Section 13..1. Introduction. <br /> <br />This Chapter sets forth the procedure by which both the text (written) and <br />the atlas (zoning maps) of the Zoning Ordinance may be changed. It also explains <br />the concept of special use rezoning, a form of rezoning which changes a zoning <br />classification from one to another but limits the number of uses in the new zone. <br />This is in contrast to the regular or traditional rezoning which changes from one <br />zoning classification to another but does not specify use. Instead, all the uses of the <br />new zone, which may be relatively wide ranging, carry over to the new zone. <br /> <br />Section 13-2.
