Potition C03-03 (T) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: <br />CHAPTER SEVEN, SECTION 7-4: USES PERMITTED ON STANDARDS (PBS) <br />Add/Change Item 38 as follows: <br /> <br />38. Retail sales/shoppers' goods <br /> <br />Zones permitted based on standards <br /> <br />Agricultural/open <br />Standards: <br /> <br />Site Plan. A site plan showing the lot and proposed building thereon. <br /> <br />Location. The store must be located with 500 feet of an intersection and front on an <br />arterial or collector road. <br /> <br />Lighting. The store's lighting shall be shielded to prevent light and glare spillover on to <br />adjacent residential properties <br /> <br />Maximum Square Footage. Shall not exceed 5,000 square feet <br /> <br />Silage. Maximum allowable signage is 16 square feet. Must also meet. any <br />applicable requirements of Chapter Eleven, Signage. <br /> <br />ca Outside Storage. <br /> <br />for dumpsters: <br /> <br />All outside storage shall not be permitted with the exception of areas <br /> <br />Dumpsters shall be sited to the rear of the building and made unnoticeable from both adjacent <br />properties and public rights-of-way through the installation of fencing and/or vegetative <br />screening. <br /> <br />Adopted this the 26th day of January 2004 by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Robert M.
