Recommendations for CJPP Service Provider FY 04-05 <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Advisory Board for Criminal Justice Partnership Program met Friday, <br />January 30, 2004, with a quorum of voting members represented. A report was presented from <br />the sub-committee who met in January 2004 to review the following: <br /> <br />The performance of the current service provider, Carolina Addiction and Recovery <br />Environment, Inc. <br /> <br />The goals and objectives of Cabarms CJPP and to establish improved means in which to <br />measure the accomplishments of the objectives. <br /> <br />3. The DCC personnel's satisfaction with current service provider CARE, Inc. <br /> <br />A comparison of other counties who utilize Satellite Substance Abuse Programs such as <br />the CJPP and costs of their individual group hourly fees. (Further discussion included <br />herewith). <br /> <br />The sub-committee's recommendation to the Advisory Board was to continue with the current <br />service provider, Carolina Addiction and Recovery Environment, Inc., for FY 04-05. Discussion <br />was held by the Advisory Board. Motion was made and seconded, and a vote was taken by a <br />show of hands. The Advisory Board unanimously voted to recommend to the Cabarms County <br />Commissioners the service provider for FY 04-05 for the Cabarrus County CJPP be awarded to <br />CARE, Inc. with an increase from $14.50 to $20.00 per individual group hour. In addition, <br />CARE, Inc. will provide Aftercare treatment to lOP and ROPT at no cost. <br /> <br /> <br />
