Cabarrus County Photography Contest <br />In Observance of County Government Week <br /> <br />Help Cabarms County celebrate County Government Week (April 18-24, 2004) by <br />showcasing your photos of Cabarrus County scenes or people. Photography contest is <br />open to all Cabarrus County residents. Photos will be on display at Carolina Mall in <br />Concord. <br /> <br />Awards will be given for: <br />Best of Show, <br />Best of Show (17 and younger), <br />Best Scenic Photography, and <br />Best Human Interest Photography. <br /> <br />Official Contest Rules: <br /> 1. There is no entry fee. No more than three entries will be accepted per individual. <br /> 2. Cabarms County residents must register in advance to be able to submit <br /> photography in the contest. Registration forms are available online at <br /> www.cabarruscounty.us. Residents may print the form and mail it to: Cabarrus <br /> County Photography Contest, c/o Public Information, PO Box 707, Concord, NC <br /> 28026. <br /> 3. Registration forms must be received by Monday, April 5. Late entrants will not be <br /> accepted. <br /> 4. Up to three entries may be submitted per entrant. A registration form is required <br /> for each entry. <br /> 5. All entries must be no smaller than 8"x10" and no larger than 10"x14". All photos <br /> must be securely framed in a lightweight frame and ready to be hung (no serrated <br /> hooks or string). <br /> 6. Entries must be received between the hours of 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, <br /> April 15 at center court in Carolina Mall. <br /> 7. Each entry must include a label on the back containing photo title, entrant's name, <br /> and telephone number. <br /> 8. Entries must be original, non-copyrighted photographs taken within the <br /> boundaries of Cabarrus County within the past year (March 1, 2003 - March 31, <br /> 2004). <br /> <br />For additional information, log on to www.cabarmscounty.us <br /> <br /> <br />
