Obasohzn, Princip
$~md? ]5.~¢er, API

I support the application of 4-I-I SOS Goldm{ners to extend their aflerschool
progrm:n at Concord 1Viiddle School. I consider it to be a valuable asset to
our school. They have provided an ~mbitious progrmn with clearly det~ned
goals to help our youth who aze at-~isk of falling through the cracks.

Since Au~Lst 2000, the program has allowed o~.u' school to better serve the
needs of our diverse student body and their families. Students have
opportunities to work with their classroom teachers as tutor, s~ and also
participate in extra CtLrricular activities. This year the program has also
served our school by allowing the boy's basketball teams to have
supervision and time to complete homework prior to their late afternoon
practice. I have witnessed the concern and professionalism with which the
staff works with our students. We are glad to be able to supply the facilities
and support the enables the 4-H SOS Goldminers to work with ottr students.

Sincerely,

Austin N.
