WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 163-107 fixes the filzng fee for
<br />County Commissioner and Regis=er of Deeds at one percent (1%) of the annual
<br />salary for each office, and

<br /> WHEREAS, the annual salary for a County Commissioner is $10,254.00 and the
<br />annual salary for the Register of Deeds is $57,689.50.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED the Cabarrus County Board of Co,~nissioners
<br />hereby sets the ~ollowing filing fees for the 2004 Election and directs that this
<br />information be forwarded to the Board of Elections:

<br />the price of $1 00 to Lieutenant Joe E. Shue, Jr., upon his retirement from the
