5) <br /> <br />The standard pavement cross sections must be shown on the plan. Pavement structure shall be 8" <br />stone, 1 W' surface course with an additional 1" surface course applied when a majority of the <br />construction is completed. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />Right-of-way widths at a mimmum of 50' will be permitted as shown in street typicals when at least <br />three off street parking spaces are provided per dwelling unit. Street pavement width shall be 20' for <br />streets serving less than 20 lots, 22' for other local streets, 24' for collector streets without parking, <br />and 28' for collector streets with parking. Curb and gutter is required. On streets w~th average lot <br />sizes of one acre or greater curb and gutter shall not be required and NCDOT construction standards <br />for right-of-way and pavement widths shall be used. Where three off street parkang spaces are not <br />provided, NCDOT standards for fight-of-way and pavement width shall apply. <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />Where a street is likely to become part of a city maintained system, road names shall be in accordance <br />with that city's standards for suffixes and directional. All road names must have final approval by the <br />Cabarms County Planning Division for address purposes. <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />The connectivity ratio as defined and required in LIDO Section 10.1.5 shall be met w~th the following <br />exceptions: residential development w~th a gross density less than 1 unit per acre shall meet a <br />minimum ratio of 1.2, residential development with a gross density between 1 and 2 units per acre <br />shall meet a mxmmum ratio of 1.3 and all residentml development with a gross density greater than 2 <br />units per acre shall meet the Concord UDO standard ratio of 1.4. The subdivision administrator may <br />grant exceptions based on topography, environmentally sensitive areas, or other natural obstructions. <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission shall consider appeals of those decisions. <br /> <br />In addition to these specific changes the ordinance numbering system and certain definitions and terms <br />have been changed to reflect current terminology.
