MEASURABLE OBJECTIVES <br />Will assist in screening all diverted DJJ referrals to SA <br />services within 7 days of referral <br /> <br />Provide Substance Abuse Specific Assessment <br />(SASSI) and assist with administration of <br />computerized SA screening, results within 21 days of <br />assessment for 40 DJJ referrals/year <br /> <br />Provide recommendations for treatment for all <br />referrals with appropriate linkage to these services <br />within the community <br /> <br /> 6 MONTH RESULTS <br />From July 2003 through December 2003 was 4 <br />calendar days <br /> <br />Provided Substance Abuse Specific Assessments <br />(SASSI) and assisted with administration of <br />computerized SA screenings for 8 clients. <br />Concerns/Barriers to services: It should be noted that <br />the SA clinician assigned to provide this service was <br />on medical leave for 6 weeks (last part of May through <br />the first week of July) and was on vacation another 2 <br />weeks in September. This clinician resigned at the <br />end of October and the position remained vacant until <br />January 2004. <br /> <br />A new SA clinician began seeing clients January <br />2004. Services have been provided for 14 additional <br />youths from January through March 2004. A total of <br />22 youths have received services from July 2003 <br />through March 2004. <br /> <br />Completed <br /> <br />Recidivism <br /> <br />Describe how program will obtain and analyze data to determine the court involvement of clients one year <br />following termination from the program. <br />Analysis of data provided through the Juvenile Court Program Referrals and the Clerk of Court. <br /> <br /> <br />
