The Pay Plan contains language that can impact <br />employees being promoted or when their position is substantially reclassified. In these <br />cases, the ordinance provides a ten level (approximately 5%) increase or an increase to <br />the entry salary of the new salary grade, whichever is greater. However, permanent salary <br />increases are limited to 10% in a fiscal year.
