IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS <br /> <br /> Educational Materials - The Cabarrus County 4-H office will supply 4-H project <br />books, and various educational curriculum books. 125 children 2 project books ~ $3 per project <br />book $750. The Cabarrus County 4-H office will also provide project kits for each site at no <br />charge. Ten kits at $25 per kit. $250. Total: $1,000 <br /> <br /> Staff Training - The following staff trainings will be provided as an in-kind <br />contribution: Life Skills 101; Food, Fun and Fitness; Creating Unique Activity Centers; <br />Indoor/Outdoor Games and Ages and Stages (5 x $220 = $1,100). <br /> <br /> Salary - Beverly Bollenbecker, 4-H Afterschool Coordinator, will act as Project <br />Manager. Cooperative Extension already employs Beverly. Her training with the accreditation <br />process, BSAC trainer, RL-SAC trainer and ten years working with the 4-H afterschool program <br />qualifies her to provide support and technical assistance to Bethel Kids:Plus, Harrisburg <br />Kids:Plus, and Kids Next Door. All salary time will be considered an in-kind contribution- 4-H <br />Al~erschool Coordinator's salary $14/hour ~ 500 hours = $8,400. <br /> <br /> All three centers will take great pride in serving the needs of our community by providing <br />a safe and enriching environment for children during extended program hours before and after <br />school, as well as special holidays and summer. <br /> <br /> Bethel and Harrisburg Kids:Plus and Kids Next Door will take great pride in offering a <br />program that will suit the needs of children, parents, the staff and the community. <br /> <br /> <br />
