<br />THIS DEED made this 20th day of August 2004, by CABARARRUS
<br />COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of North Carolina ("Grantor"), to
<br />CARPENTER INVESTMENT PROPERTIES, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability
<br />company ("Grantee"), whose address is 745 Cabarrus Avenue, W., Concord, North Carolina
<br />28027.

<br />The designation Grantor and Grantee as used herein shall include said parties, their heirs, successors, and assigns, and
<br />'!,hall include singular, plural, masculine, feminine or neuter as required by context.

<br />WITNESSETH:-

<br />That the Grantor, for a valuable consideration paid by the Grantee, the receipt
<br />of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold, and by these presents does bargain,
<br />sell, and convey unto the Grantee in fee simple, all that certain lot or parcel of land situated in
<br />No. 11 Township, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as
<br />follows:

<br />First Tract: Lying and being in No. 11 Township, Cabarrus County, North Carolina,
<br />adjoining the property of Carpenter Investments and being a pàrt of Lot 15 of the property of
<br />Cabarrus County as shown on map recorded in Map Book 43, page 33, and being more
<br />particularly described. as follows:

<br />BEGINNING at an existing iron rod, a corner of Lot 15 of the Cabarrus County property and
<br />Carpenter Investments (said comer being N. 84-48-27 E. 70 feet along the property line from
<br />an existing iron pin, a corner of Lots 3 and 15 and Carpenter Investments), and runs thence
<br />two new lines as follows: I" S. 78-18-48 W. 55.54 feet to a new iron pin; and 2ndN. 81-27-57
<br />W. 26.47 feet to a new iron pin in the line of Carpenter Investments; thence with that line N.
<br />84-48-27 E. 80.90 feet to the BEGINNING, as surveyed by Robert S. Spidel, Professional
<br />Land Surveyor of Mel G. Thompson & Associates, August 4,2004.
