<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />--I) <br /> <br />Meeting Date 10/4/04 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Acceptance of the Tourism Authority contribution of $92,000 to the Cabarrus Arena and <br />Events Center to provide basketball flooring and equipment for the Arena <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The Tourism Authority (CVB) has elected to contribute $92,000 of undesignated fund <br />balance to provide basketball flooring, goals, scoreboards and shot clocks at the Cabarrus <br />Arena and Events Center.
