<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 9/20/04 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />G-4- <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Cabarrus Countyrrown of Midland Land Use Plan - Public Hearing - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The Midland Area Land Use Plan 2003 was adopted by the Town of Midland on February <br />10th 2004, presentation to the County was delayed pending formal approval of an <br />annexation agreement with the Town of Harrisburg. That agreement was approved in July <br />and is shown on the annexation map (map 3) for illustration purposes but is detailed in the <br />Harrisburg Area Plan. Approval is requested by both the County and Midland boards to <br />accommodate property within the Town limits and also property in the unincorporated <br />area.
