He sa~d this proposed <br />ordinance smacks of an operating procedure w~th many, many <br />detads and references which are hkely to change ~n the next 10 <br />years, which are going to require changes then in the ordinance <br />and he does not beheve that those kind of details should be in an <br />ordinance. Mr. Griffin sa~d he th~nks they should be in an operating <br />procedure w~thm this department, which ~s well documented and <br />followed. He sa~d he does not beheve that it .s necessary to put <br />those ~n an ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Griffin sa~d the Chair is looking for a motion and staff Is looking <br />for a _recommendation from the Board to -the County <br />Commissioners. Mr. Griffin MOTIONED to send it forward to the <br />Board of Commissioners w~thout a recommendation, seconded by <br />Mr. Hdl. The vote was unanimous. <br />Adequate Public Facihties Ordinance sent forward to the Board of <br />Commissioners w~thout a recommendation from the Board. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first Eem of new bus~ness on the Agenda, Zoning Atlas <br />Amendment, Petition C02-03(R): <br /> <br />Applicant: Bailey Patrick <br />Request: Zoning Atlas Amendment <br /> <br />Th~s was a request to the Cabarrus County' Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from Mr. Badey Patrick to hav& his property rezoned <br />from LIm~ted Tndustnal (L:[) to General Tndusmal (GT). The <br />petitioner would like to change the existing zoning to accommodate <br />uses permitted in the General Jndusmal Zoning D~stnct, including <br />vehicle auction faalities and related office uses. <br /> <br />Ms. Kassle Goodson, Planning Technlaan, addressed the Board <br />presenting Petition C02-03(R) and staff report stating the petitioner <br />has requested a rezoning from Limited Industrial (LI) to General <br /> <br /> <br />
