This does not include any Infrastructure money at this time. Staff does not expect <br />funding until April. There are several municipalities in line ahead of us to get funding. <br />We would need to get proposals for consultants as soon as possible. <br /> <br />It is my recommendation that we ask Kannapolis to perform the engineering for the <br />project. With these numbers we can ascertain the actual costs the county would incur. <br />The current maximum infrastructure grant is $750,000. Installation estimates for the <br />project are approximately $1.85 million, however with completed engineering plans; this <br />number will be revised. <br /> <br />In closing, I recommend that we proceed with the RFP for the writing of the grant while <br />also pursuing the actual engineering of the sewer for the area. After we have these <br />numbers and proposals, we will be better able to determine the best way to proceed. <br /> <br /> <br />
