Cabarrus County <br /> <br />Request for Proposal for Preparing a Grant for <br />Fishertown/Princeton Park Area of Cabarrus County <br /> <br />A. Introduction and Invitation <br />Cabarrus County would like to prepare a grant application for the Fishertowrd Princeton <br />Park area of Cabarrus County. The County intends to select a qualified consultant to <br />prepare the application. The consultant will make a proposal as to the most effective <br />grant application, or applications, to serve the Fishertown/Princeton Park area of <br />Cabarms County with sewer. Projections for the cost of installation of sewer service to <br />the project area are estimated to be at least $1.85 million. <br /> <br />B. Deadline for Submission <br />Proposals must be received by Friday, February 21, 2003 at 10:00 am in the County <br />Community Development Manager's office. Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026 <br /> <br />Questions should be addressed to Ms. Kelly Sifford at 704-920-2142. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br />Select an appropriate grant, or grants, and prepare an application for the installation <br />of sewer service to the Fishertown/Princeton Park area of Cabarrus County. <br />Consultant will propose a grant or combination of grants to service the area while <br />clearly defining county contributions and other costs to obtain the grant(s). <br /> <br />D. Proposal Contents <br />1. Name and Location of Firm. <br />2. Names and duties of personnel assigned to project including brief resumes. <br />3. Prior relevant experience including years and activities. <br />4. Not to exceed price and hourly fee schedule- including overhead, travel and <br /> miscellaneous expenses for application process and/or administration of the grant <br /> <br />E. Evaluation Criteria <br />1. Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the Community Development Director <br /> in accordance with the following criteria. Factors are listed in their order of relative <br /> importance. <br /> General Qualifications, reputation and competence of firm (20 points) <br />· Prior relevant experience (20 points) <br />· Staff qualifications (20 points) <br /> <br /> <br />
