Resolution No. 2003- <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA ) <br /> ) <br />CABARRUS COUNTY ) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cabarms County owns certain items of personal property that have become <br />surplus for its current needs: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 160A-266 permits the County to sell such <br />property by private sale, upon authorization by the Board of Commissioners at a regular <br />meeting and notice to the public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is convened in a regular meeting; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br />RESOLVES THAT: <br /> <br />The Board of Commissioners authorizes the County Purchasing Agent to sell by <br />private sale the following items of surplus personal property: <br /> <br />(1) <br />(1) <br />(1) <br />(1) <br /> <br />Caterpillar Model 826C Landfill Compactor <br />A1-Jon Model A010A Landfill Compactor <br />1954 Dodge Willys Truck <br />1977 International Roll-off Truck <br /> <br />The Purchasing Agent shall publish a notice summarizing this resolution, and no <br />sale may be executed pursuant to this resolution until at least 10 days after the day <br />the notice is published. <br /> <br />Adopted this 17th day of February 2003. <br /> <br />ROBERT M.
