This
group was founded to unite liberty lovers across the political and non-political spectrum. We are not a political
action committee. We do not endorse political candidates. We welcome voters and non-voters ahke. We welcome
anyone who respects the "Bill of Rights".

THE LPA PROPOSES A RESOLUTION TO OPPOSE THE
USA PATRIOT ACT AND OTHER RELATED EXECUTIVE
ORDERS, FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS

As the following resolution makes clear, the USA PATRIOT ACT contains
provisions that are in direct violation of amendments contained in the US
Constitution's Bill Of Rights. While the LPA understands the need to combat terrorist
threats to our nation, we do not believe in sacrificing our cherished civil liberties for
the perception of security.

THE LPA CALLS ON THE CABARRUS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR THE BILL OF RIGHTS AND OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES
BY ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION

Contact Info:

Jeff Goforth Co-Founder, LPA
Phone: 704.425.0187

E-Mail: libertarian@carolina.rr.com

Thomas Hill Co-Founder, LPA
Phone: 704.455.9200

3/10/2003 '--~'- ~
