D. Cabarms County EMs is the lead agency providing emergency medical care and <br />evacuation on the scene during emergency situations. Rescue squads will support EMS units <br />in providing basic emergency medical care and casualty evacuation during emergencies. <br /> <br /> E. Rescue squads will assist the County Radiological Officer with decontamination <br />efforts and site control in tho event of a hazardous materials or radiological incident. <br /> <br />IV. DIRECTION AND CONTROL <br /> <br /> A. Initially, the Chief, R~scue Squad directs the operations of the rescue squad units. <br />The incident commander will control the rescue squad units on the scene. <br /> <br /> B. The County Fire Marshal and the EMS Director will employ the Incident Command <br />System to coordinate rescue activities involving multiple jurisdictions. The Sheriff will <br />control search operations wiflain the unincorporated areas of the county. <br /> <br /> C. The EMS Director will control initial rescue operations from the EOC.
