Meeting Date 5/19/03 <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Homeland Security Grant - Weapons of Mass Destruction Preparedness <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Public Safety Services (Emergency Management) has been approved by North Carolina <br />Emergency Management to receive a grant for the amount of $52,261.00 to be used for <br />the purpose of purchasing equipment in preparation of a weapons of mass destruction or <br />terrorist incident.
