August 2003 -New staff members will receive BSAC, Rated License Training, <br /> CPR/First Aid training and Orientation training. <br /> <br /> September 2003 - Center will receive site visit from 4-H SAC office. Sta_ffwill attend <br /> Transition Magician workshop to assist staff with transition times. <br /> <br /> October-December 2003 - Begin mapping out plans for ordering educational materials. <br /> Staff will work from drawings of center and actually set-up ideal centers and develop a <br /> list of supplies from drawing plans. <br /> <br /> January - March 2004 - Order educational supplies for center. Order vqill include all <br /> educational materials for all areas of the afierschool center- science/discovery, <br /> homework, outdoors, creative arts, reading/writing, manipulative, dramatic play, and <br /> blocks. <br /> <br />April - May 2004 - Receive visit'from 4-H SAC office. Produce a cable TV taping on <br />the Availability Grant for Extension Today. Access the program to see what final <br />purchases need to be made in order to prepare the center for the star rated license. <br />July 2003 - June 2004 - Monthly reports and invoices will be completed each month. <br /> <br /> Afterschool hours will be Monday-Friday from 6:30-8:15 a.m. and 2:15-6:00 p.m. <br />Full day hours will be 6:~0 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Logan will be accepting at least 25 children <br />during the school year and has a capacity of 45 school age children. The program is open <br />to any child regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. <br /> <br /> Each. ,day children will enjoy enrichment activities where they will be provided <br />with "hands-on" learning including science, self-esteem, diversity, dramatic arts, and <br />foods and nutrition.
