Family Resource Center - $2,000. A Family Center is extremely helpful to <br /> families. The center will offer resources for parents to checkout, parent brochures and <br /> upcoming events. Items to purchase will be parent resource books, table, bookshelf, <br /> display board and Reading Book Kits in backpacks for families to take home to read to <br /> their children. <br /> <br /> Staff Resource Materials/Center - $2,000. This area will include resource <br /> books in various subject's, bookshelf, and an information display board. <br /> <br />Staff Trainifig - This area will be extremely important for the center to become licensed. <br />Sites will be receiving excellent training on staff relations, teamwork, indoor/outdoor <br />environment, and peer relations. Grant funds will be used to pay for BSAC training (5 <br />participants ~ $30), and Rated License training (5 participants ~ $10). <br /> <br /> In Kind Contributions <br /> <br />Salary - Beverly Bollcnbecker, 4-H ARerschool Coordinator, will act as Project Manger. <br />Beverly is already employed by Cooperative Extension. Her training with the <br />accreditation process, BSAC trainer', RL-SAC trainer and seven years working with the <br />4-H aherschool program qualifies her to provide support and technical assistance to Cox <br />Mill Kids:Plus site. All s/alary time will be considered an in kind contribution. 4-H <br />Aherschool Coordinator's salary $14 / hour ~ 250 hours ($3,500). <br /> <br /> Logan Community Day Care will be a quality af~erschool center that would like <br />to put the children's needs first, so they feel that it is important to provide educational <br /> <br /> & <br /> <br />materials for the children from the grant funds and use salaries from other sources. <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br /> <br />
