Issues discussed included the possibility of rotating <br /> County Commisslon~members as members of the Authority and the possibility of <br /> limiting membership to elected officials and/or private citizens rather than <br /> having staff membqrs from the various entities serving on the Authority. <br /> <br /> (g-S) Board of R~,,ltzation and Review <br /> <br /> The Board 4calved the written resignation of William p. Ferriss from <br /> the Board of Equ~lization and Review. In his letter, Mr. Ferriss cited a <br /> conflict of inter~st due to his recent acceptance of a contract to work with <br /> Cabarrus County T~ Office on the 2004 Revaluation. <br /> UPON MOTION iof Commissioner Privette, seconded by Chairman Freeman and <br /> unanimously carriSd, the Board appointed Lester Shelton to the Board of <br /> Equalization and ~view to fxll an unexpired term ending June 30, 2005. <br /> <br /> (G-g) Harrisburg ~l&nni~g and Zon~n~ Board (=x~a~erritorial Jurisdiot%~.. <br /> <br /> The term ~ appointment for Lloyd Quay as the Extraterritorial <br /> fu~isdiction (BTJ)J member of the Harrisburg Planning and Zoning Board ends <br /> ouly 1, 2003. MF. Quay is completing his second three-year term or six <br /> consecutive years.~ The Board received a Memo dated May 7, 2003, from Tyre1 <br /> ~.
