<br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into effective the first day of July, 2003 by and between
<br />Canteen Vending Services hereinafter referred to as the "Caterer" and Cabarrus
<br />County Department of Aging hereinafter referred to as the "Purchaser".

<br /> WHEREAS, the Caterer is a food service management company with the demonstrated
<br /> capacity and desire to supply services;
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants and
<br /> agreements hereinafter contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
<br /> The Caterer agrees to sell and' the Purchaser agrees to buy all Purchasers'
<br /> requirements for this program according to the provisions of the agreement· Caterer
<br /> agrees not to sub-.contract for the delivery of the services called for in this agreement.
<br /> /
<br /> This Agreement will be in effect and services will be delivered beginning July 1, 2003
<br /> and continue through June 30, 2004. This contract is being renewed from our July 1,
<br /> 2002 through June 30, 2003 contract and may be renewed a maximum of one (1)
<br /> more time upon agreement of both parties.
<br /> The Purchaser will order from the Caterer approximately of 260-280 meals daily for
<br /> approximately 250 serving days, depending on the availability of funding. Caterer shall
<br /> be obligated to deliver meals to four (4) sites designated by the Purchaser if funding
<br /> allows these four (4) sites {o remain open and any additional sites as added by the
<br /> Purchaser.
<br /> The Caterer will deliver meals in bulk to each site Monday through Friday, during the
<br /> period of this agreement with the exception of the holidays specified herein or except as
<br /> provided for under item 8.
