A cooperative s Udy with Mecklenburg and Lincoln Counties as well as the municipalities <br /> along the route to determine the future of NC 73. <br />3. Cabarrus - Rowan MPO. 'I tis agency is responsible for transportation planning in a two county area. <br /> The MPO has participation ~om both staff and elected officials from county and city agencies. <br />4. Small Town Planning Servi ~¢ Contracts. Planning Services provides planning and zoning services, by <br /> contract, to Midland, Moun~i Pleasant, and Harrisburg. These contracts have increased the <br /> communication between th~se towns and Cabarms County. <br /> <br />REGIONAL PLANNING <br /> <br />1. Land Use Plans.
