Sponsoring Agency, Project Challenge North Carolina, Inc. <br /> <br />Priorities Addressed. <br />List the priority (and other) risk factors or dispositional option(s) addressed by this program: <br /> <br />ProJect Challenge hopes to decrease 1) family conflict, disruption and management problems by teaching youth specific <br />social skills. Examples of these skills are: following instructions, accepting correction, asking permission and getting <br />along with peers. ProJect Challenge also addresses the 2) ~mpovershed states of neighborhoods by teaching youth to give <br />back to their ne~borhoods through community service. <br /> <br />Program Description. <br />P~owde a brief description of the program to be implemented in the county: <br /> <br />The program will provide the Juvenile Court System and the Department of Juvenile Justice with a dispositional structure <br />for restitution and rehabilitation in delinquent and undisciplined cases, as well as a suitable plan for deferral agreements. <br />Project Challenge targets youth between the ages of 10-17.
