Sponsoring agency, Cabarrus County Department of Social Services. <br /> <br />Priorities Addressed. ~ <br />List the priority (and other) ris!~ factors or dispositional option(s) addressed by this program: <br /> <br />Family Management Issues an4 Family Conflict and disruption: Each juvenile and their family will work with a social <br />worker to develop a Family Se{vices Case Plan addressing the factors that resulted in the out-of-home placement. Areas <br />addressed in the plan may incl4de, parenting classes, individual and/or family therapy, visitation between the juvenile and <br />their family, independent hvinl~ skills, employemnt, aducation, etc. <br /> <br />Program Description. <br />Provide a brief description of t~e program to be implemented in the county: <br /> <br />The program will provide out-4f-home placements for juveniles involved in the Department of Juvenile justice. The level <br />of care needed to deal with thede behaviors and needs can only be found in specialized residential treatment facilities <br />geared toward providing long t~rm treatment in an effort to reduce further involvement of these juveniles within the <br />juvenile justice system.
