In order to ileceive EA, there must be a minor child residing in the home. <br /> The definitqon of age, kinship, and citizenship will be the same as in the <br /> Work First program requirements. <br /> 3. Eligibility Sr EA will be based on 150% of the Federal poverty level. <br /> 4. The base pe~riod for computing gross income is the month prior to the <br /> application [or EA, unless a change has occurred in hours, employment, or <br /> pay. <br /> 5. There will ~ a $300.00 maximum assistance payment per family during a <br /> consecutivetyear beginning from when last EA payment was received. <br /> 6. The family Spplying for EA must have at least one employed adult <br /> member or ~ne disabled adult member of the household. <br /> 7. The family ~udget must show that the family can maintain ongoing bills <br /> once EA is given. If' this is not the case, EA may not be appropriate. <br /> 8. Budget cour~seling will be provided on each EA application. <br /> 9.
