Meeting Date 7/21/03 <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />To direct execution against personal property to the Sheriff of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Tax Collector's Office seeks approval to utilize the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office to <br />assist in the collection of property taxes on motor vehicles. This is expected to significantly <br />increase the collection rate on motor vehicle property taxes.
