Brent Weisner <br /> <br />Date: August 26, 2003 <br /> <br />Re: Consent Agenda - Resolution Authorizing the Sheriff to Levy on <br /> Personal Property to Enforce the Collection of Taxes <br /> <br />At your last meeting you agreed to a plan presented by Linda Morgan, <br />supervisor of collections, to ask the sheriff to levy on personal property to <br />enforce the collection of taxes. The Institute of Government recommends that <br />the Board of County Commissioners pass a resolution authorizing this <br />arrangement. Please find attached a resolution that will accomplish this <br />requirement. I am requesting that you place this resolution on your consent <br />agenda so that we may proceed with this project. <br /> <br />If you have any questions please give Linda or myself a call. <br /> <br /> <br />
