Cabarms County Division of Community Corrections will hopefully raise approximately $2,500
by the end of the campaign drive in August. Chaired by PPO I Cheri Grenzig and PPO II Teresa
Rettinger, these individuals have given of their personal time to head this project. Monies
collected have been from the sale of discount coupons from Hardee's and Special Olympic hats
and t-shirts. The chairs are also in the process of organizing a fund raiser cook-out in
conjunction with a local bonding company. They are also looking at the possibility of a car wash
at a local mall the weekend before school starts, all to raise money for this worthwhile cause.

As a result of the invasion of Iraq, one employee, Tom White, is now on active duty and
stationed in Kuwait. In April, employees from the probation office and the Clerk of Court's
office gathered items such as toiletries, snack items, and magazines to send to Mr. White and his
unit. Our staff thanks Mr. White for his service to our country and looks forward to his return.

5
