CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 10/20/03 Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Contract with the Town of Locust for Sediment & Erosion Control Enforcement. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Town of Locust has annexed properties within Cabarrus County. The Town desires to <br />contract with the County to perform Sediment & Erosion Control Enforcement for those <br />properties that lie within Cabarrus County only. These services will be in addition to <br />Building Inspection Services which had previously been approved, and will be supported by <br />fees charged to the users. If Cabarrus County does not provide these services they will be <br />performed by the N.C.
