CA'BARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 12/15/03 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments - Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Commission (three members). <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The terms of appointment for Lee Efird (Kannapolis School Board), George Culp <br />(Township 12) and Andrea PaiD (Townships 1/2/3) end on January 31,2004. Ms. PaiD has <br />served since January 1997 or 7 consecutive years. Mr. Efird is a resident of Rowan <br />County, and Mr. Culp is completing his first term of appointment. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br /> <br />Appoint three members to fill the expired terms on the Cabarrus County Parks and <br />Recreation Commission effective February 1, 2004.
