Little, Director <br />Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Commission Member <br />Nominations <br /> <br />The terms of appointment for Lee Efird (Kannapolis School Board), George Culp <br />(Township 12) and Andrea Palo (Township 1/2/3) end on January 31,2004. Lee Efird <br />(Kannapolis School Board member) has served 4 years and resides in Rowan County. <br />George Culp is completing his first term of appointment. Andrea Palo has served since <br />January 1997 for 7 consecutive years. The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />would need to make an exception to the Cabarrus County appointment policy to <br />consider the reappointment of Lee Efird and Andrea Palo. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, November 25, 2003, the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation <br />Commission nominated the following people for the three positions: <br /> Danita B. Rickard - Kannapolis School Board <br /> Lenora Barron - Townships 1/2/3 <br /> George Culp - Township 12 <br /> <br />Attached are their applications.
