Today, Ticketmaster continues to set the standard in ticketing <br />technology, box office support and unmatched distribution. <br /> <br />The world's leading ticketing system is the backbone of Ticketmaster's operations and <br />drives the vast distribution network of Ticket 'Centers, Call Centers and ticketmaster.com. <br />Still' our service starts with the people of Ticketmaster who provide the care and attention <br />that clients and ticket buyers require. Now more than ever, Ticketmaster means <br />technology, services and people ready to answer the needs of every client. Ticketmaster <br />would provide the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center its state-of-the-art ticket <br />distribution and inventory control system that provides you with a fully automated ticket <br />office, the use of retail ticket center locations, a charge-by-phone network that can be <br />accessed through more than fifteen different local numbers throughout the Southeast, and <br />world wide access via www.ticketmaster.com. <br /> <br />1.0 Contract Term <br />A Five year agreement, granting to Ticketmaster exclusive rights for retail outlet (ticket <br />centers), telephone, and Internet sales for all Cabarrus Arena and Events Center <br />("Principal") events. Thereafter, the terms of the agreement will renew for successive <br />three-year periods. <br /> <br />2.0 Ticketing System <br />Ticketmaster provides proprietary hardware and software to power its ticketing inventory <br />management control system and distribution netWork. The operating system, which <br />Ticketmaster provides, upgrades and maintains, was designed specifically for the <br />ticketing industry. <br /> <br />Using the Ticketmaster hardware and software described below, Principal will be able to <br />process season sales, group sales, mail orders, and box office sales via the TM system at <br />its ticket office. <br /> <br />2.1 Hardware <br />Ticketmaster will provide .Principal with a mutually agreeable amount of hardware during <br />the term of this agreement. Principal's equipment requirements need to be further <br />discussed to determine amounts and type of equipment needed. <br /> <br />2.2 Soft~vare <br />Ticketmaster will provide Principal with all the computer software, including all <br />upgrades, new releases, new versions and modifications during the term of this <br />agreement, which Principal shall have access to in connection with the sale of tickets <br />through the Ticketmaster System. <br /> <br />All Material contained herein is subject to the <br />Terms and Conditions set [orth on the cover page <br /> <br />ticketmaster <br /> <br /> <br />
