Component Narrative (cont.) <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Services will include Screening, and SA Assessments. Based on these findings <br />further treatment recommendations will be made, and the client will be referred to <br />appropriate therapeutic services. Actual delivery of services will be outside the <br />scope of this grant; however, PBHC staffwill be available for services including: <br />MAJORS, SA Outpatient services, individual and family therapy; group therapy; <br />anger .management; substance abuse treatment; Intensive Family Preservation <br />Services; psychiatric consultations and medication assessments; sex offender <br />assessments; and Sexually Aggressive Youth treatment services. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Protective factors to address "risk factors" will include a comprehensive <br />assessment with specific treatment recommendations focusing on increasing the <br />child and the families protective factors while decreasing the impact of the risk <br />factors the family is facing. <br /> <br />Services will be available as needed. SA therapist will provide weekly <br />appointments for testing and screening/assessment. Additionally, position will be <br />at the court house on Friday mornings to provide SA screenings for all youth who <br />have a hearing in Juvenile Court that day. <br /> <br />Termination will occur when the screerdn~assessment and/or testing is complete. <br /> <br />The position will be housed at the Cabarrus County Courthouse 20 hours per <br />week. This will provide the SA therapist to interact with the DJI staff on a <br />weekly basis both formally and informally. D J J/DSS and MH meet monthly to <br />staff shared cases, and quarterly to discuss administration of shared services. <br /> <br /> <br />
