Canaday, S?eriff <br /> December 6, 2~0~ <br /> <br /> ON THE RETIREMENT OF <br /> <br />CAPTAIN ERIC BAGGARLY <br /> <br /> Eric Baggariy began his career with the Cabarms County Sheriff's Office on April 1, t974, coming <br />tO our department from the FBI office in Charlotte, NC. <br /> <br /> Eric is married to Cindy Furr Baggarly and they have one son, Jemmy Baggarly Whois a Concord <br />Police Officer. Eric and Cindy am looking forward to the arrival of their flint grandchild in the spring. <br /> <br /> During his time with the sheriff's Office Eric has worked in the patrol, jail, detective, and hospital <br />divisions. <br /> <br /> While with the depaf[~.ent Eric eamed his Associates Degree in Police Science and Criminology <br />from Central Piedmont Community College. <br /> <br /> He has also completed over 1000 hours of specialized training in law enforcement related Subjects. <br /> In 1997 Eric was promoted to Lieutenant over the Detective Division. <br /> <br /> In '1998 Eric was promoted to Services Division Captain with command responsibilities over the <br />Jail, Communications, Detectives, DARE, SchoOl Resource and Courthouse Security. <br /> <br /> Eric has been a loyal and dedicated public servant who has excelled in each level of responsibility <br />and authority. <br /> <br />Eric will be missed by all members of the department. <br /> <br /> Eric has been an especially good friend and fishing buddy.
