A thirty lot subdivision with no public improvements required: <br />Current Ordinance: Preliminary and final designs may be <br />simultaneously. Once that approval is granted and when the <br />improvements are completed and inspected, the final approval is granted by the <br />Planning Services Director. Open space requirements are based on lot sizes and <br />calculated number of residents with no set method for exceptions. <br /> <br />UDO: A sketch plan is required to determine the proper process and identify <br />major issues. A preliminary map is then submitted for Planning and Zoning <br />Commission approval, and final approval is granted by the Planning Services <br />Director once the improvements are completed. Open space is required based <br />on zoning district and lot size. That open space requirement may be eliminated <br />if the development is close to public improvements and/or through payment of <br />fees in lieu of open space and improvements. <br /> <br /> <br />
