Carolina 28026-0707 <br /> <br /> Southeastern Packaging Company <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Clifton: <br /> <br />On June 14, 1999, Southeastern Packaging Company'entered into an agreement with Cabarrus <br />Coun. ty and the town of Harrisburg, North Carolina to obtain 'an 'Industrial Development <br />Incentive (IDI) Grant. The eXPansion project, as presented to the County Commissioners and <br />City Council, was to expand rail access, upgrade manufacturing machinery and equipment and <br />increase capacity at the plant. You may be aware that.the project is ongoing, will meet these <br />goals and is expected' to be completed within the next .few months. When we presented the <br />project to the local government, it was still in the planning stages and all of the details were not <br />known. Since the time of the approval, We have been able to acquire land across the road from <br />our' existing facility and have. opted to make most of the real pro. p,erty improvements and add <br />some of the machinery and equipment to this space. <br /> <br />In preparing for the start of the IDI grant it has come to our attention that Exhibit B of the <br />agreement only refers tO our original parcel of property. We would therefore like to amend the <br />IDI Grant Agreement, Exhibit B to include, the following three parcels of land that we have <br />acquired and on which real property improvements'are being made for the same project. <br /> <br />The following parcels have been acquired for the project (see enclosed copies of the general <br />warranty deeds for each parcel and legal description for the w, hole acreage): <br /> <br />· , 1-9-19.3,6.53 acres <br />· 1-9-19.1, 17.504 acres. <br />· 1-9-19, 5.139 acres <br />· · TOTAL ADDITIONAL ACRES: 29.173 acres ' <br /> <br />Please note that the original Exhibit B should not be removed fr6m the Agreement, as there have <br />. been some improvements/additions to that facility, <br /> <br /> <br />
