<br /> Department of Transportation; presented the proposed 2001-2002 Secondary Road
<br /> Construction Program for Cabarrus County. He explained the process for
<br /> rating unpaved roads and reported there are 2~ miles of unpaved roads in
<br /> cabarrus County. %

<br /> The Department of Transportation published the Public Notice of the
<br /> scheduled program presentation in THE INDEPENDENT TRIRUNE on May 9 and 16,
<br /> 2001. Also, the proposed program with county map was posted in the
<br /> Courthouse for public information.

<br /> Chairman Fennel questioned Mr. Wilson regarding funding for
<br />improvements on Christenbury Road. Mr. Wilson advised that funding for this
