Bennett Pinance Director Contract CABARRUS COUNTY CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA This contract is entered into this 20~" day of August, 2001, by the Town of Harrisburg and Cabarru$ County. The Town of Harrisburg and Cabarrus County, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises and agreements herein contained, agree as follows: Scope of Work: Cabarrus County shall provide to the Town of Harrisburg the services set forth in the Contract Documents consisting of planning and zoning review and enforcement for a period from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002 (Contract Term). The scope of services shall include long range planning, subdivision regulation, zoning plan review, zoning permitting, zoning enforcement and flood plain regulation. Board of Adjustment and Planning Board functions shall be provided through the Harrisburg Planning & Zoning Conumission with staff support and training to be provided by County staff. This scope of services shall not include annexation activity except as it relates to the administrative rezoning of annexed properties. The Town of Harrisburg shall supply a Clerk for the Harrisburg Planning & Zoning Commission. The Clerk shall be responsible for compiling meeting agendas, mailing of all material to Planning & Zoning Co~ission members, minutes of all meetings, and record keeping. Contract Documents: The Contract Documents consist of this signed Contract form and any Exhibits incorporated herein, Compensation and Method of Payment: For satisfactorily providing all services described and required in the Contract DOc%Lments, Cabarrus County shall receive a $10,000 direct payment from the Town of Harrisburg and shall retain one half of all planning and zoning permit and review fees.
