The Information and Technology Committee has made the following general <br />conditions on all its approved applications: <br /> <br />Any Geographic Information Systems project will be requested to use the manual that <br />has been produced by the Governor's Crime Commission entitled "Geographic <br />Information Systems for Small and Medium Law Enforcement Jurisdictions: <br />Strategies and Effective Practices". This manual will assist the project in its <br />implementation and development. <br /> <br />Any Mobile Data Terminal based project or program must have the ability to be <br />connected to the North Carolina Highway Patrol's 800 MegaHertz Voice and Data <br />Network and applicants must have the ability to share data with other agencies. <br /> <br />Compliance with these general conditions is to ensure that criminal justice agencies <br />continue to build together an integrated statewide network to tie all public safety agencies <br />together. <br /> <br /> <br />
