222 <br /> <br /> The Hoard received the following reports as a part of the Agenda: (1) <br />Memorandum dated September 25, 2001 from Ron Harwood, EMS Director, advising <br />of the termination of non-emergency transport services by Specialized <br />Transport; {2) Report from Linda Justice of Compensation Claims Solutions <br />advising of savings of $29,044.71 in workers' compensation claim medical <br />expenses for Cabarrus County for the period July 1, 2000 through June 30, <br />2001; 13) Notification from Gary O. Bartlett, Executive Director of the Stat~ <br />Board of Elections, of legislation banning the use of punch-card ballots for <br />elections after January I, 2006; (4) 2000 Child Fatality Preventign Taskforce <br />Report submitted by Glenda Keziah, MPM, Child Fatality Prevention Taskforce <br />Chairman; (5) Letter from the County Manager to Attorney Chuck Kitchen <br />authorizing him to represent Cabarrus County in the joint defense effort for <br />the American Woodlands Industries v.
