Day, Deputy County Manager <br />Date: January 11, 2000 <br />Re: Special Olympics Service Agreement and Funding <br /> <br />On November 13th at the Commissioners' retreat there was discussion about the <br />development of a service agreement for the coordination of the Cabarrus County Special <br />Olympics by the Cabarrus County Schools. The Board directed staff to pursue this issue <br />and place it on a future Commissioners' meeting agenda for consideration. <br /> <br />School and county staff members developed an a~reement that the Board of Education <br />tentatively approved at its meeting of January l0t .
